I'll show you how to install a set of 06-11 Civic coilovers on your *e series Corolla. *You may have clearance issues with a stock wheel setup. As long as you're close to the specs I've listed below, you shouldn't have any clearance issues. Wheel specs: 15x9 -15 all around with 225/45 Federals

Just did this to my 83 Corolla, sadly the civic coilovers don’t go low enough for me 😢 but for $200 used Rev9 coilovers I can’t complain too much 😊 So, on a 185/65r14 14x6 my front fender is at 21.75” if anyone is interested

Just a small amount of plastic. I do get slight rubbing at full lock on the cab mount but nothing major.

Does fine on the highway but not something you want to spend more than 30 minutes on.

Great build, about 90% done with my 72. Question, do you have any stability issues not running a fork stabilizer? Moving mine around the shop definitely has some decent wobble between the bars to the wheel.
This is probably my 10th XS build and I've never ran a stabilizer or had any issues. If you're noticing a wobble just pushing it around the shop...something seems suspect. Are you running mag or spoke wheels?
@@sk2golfs OE mag wheels from later model. I've turned down some spacers to spec for these wheels. Maybe the smaller diameter of the forks has something to do with it. Never had that much play on the couple sportys ive put together.
@@bmitch_5455 do you ever put bits of meat in the oil reservoir? This may solve your issue, but no guarantees. I’ll keep researching
@@chrisaskme811 Bike has been finished for 7 months, turned out my triple was wore out for some reason, found one on ebay, tightened up and nothing but smooth. 👍

What's the general price point for one that's been maintained, 4k+ miles
I'm seeing stock bikes bring $1500-$2500. I've owned quite a few of these that have been converted to hardtail bobbers and have never sold one for less than $4500.
I'm wanting air ride on my 81 corolla, i think i know how to do the rear but the front? would i have to have bag struts or could a traditional bag be fitted in some manner that your going with ?
